Personal Trainer Auckland & Supplements Auckland - Great experience with the new Shockwave treat

In mid June this year I performed a 60 min training session with one of my clients. As a matter of fact, I was kneeling and sitting on my heels for the entire session and noticed that my right knee seized up over night and got really sore the next day. After 2-3 weeks of sleepless nights I decided to see my GP. He gave me anti-inflammatory pills for a fortnight but there was no improvement at all. The very sharp pain in my Quadriceps tendon was still there. So he referred me to Dr James McGarvey at Axis. James mentioned straight away that this tendon might have calcified in some areas as a reaction of a minor tear. A scan confirmed his assumption. James suggested to try and break the calcium down with shockwaves. I was a wee bit sceptical towards it but we gave it a crack. So we started the first from 3 prescribed treatments. It was a very unpleasant up to a b***** painful treatment which has to be intensified from session to session. A couple of hours after every session I noticed instant progress in my knee's range of motion AND pain level. And after the 3rd session all that sharp pain was gone and I was able to show clients squats and lunges again. Also I've been even able to demonstrate plyometric exercises (jumps) to my clients again. Overall I was really happy that James guided diagnostics and as consequence of that, treatment in the right direction. I can highly recommend his services and Axis' new Shockwave machine. It's literally big bangs for your bucks! Armin,
